What happens in the room
The guest steps into the frame, the booth records a few seconds, and the video is ready almost immediately. There’s no photographer to please and no pose to hold: it’s the same dynamic as the photobooth, but what comes out moves.
The practical difference is what people do with it. The print ends up in a pocket and on the fridge; the clip ends up in a story while the party is still going on, and even people who weren’t invited get to see it. For a corporate evening it’s the part you care about most; for a wedding it’s the one the couple’s friends watch the next day.
We set up, assist and take down in person, as for everything else. If you want prints and video on the same evening, it can be done: one set-up, one contact.

The questions about the videobooth
What’s the difference between a photobooth and a videobooth?
The photobooth prints: the guest walks away with the photo in hand. The videobooth records a few seconds of video with effects and sends it to their phone. One leaves an object, the other a file that goes round that very night. You can have both on the same evening.
How do the guests get the video?
Straight from the booth, as soon as the recording ends: the guest receives it on their phone and posts it if they like, without waiting for the next day and without downloading a gallery.
Which effects can we use?
Slow motion, boomerang and filters. They are chosen together beforehand, depending on the event: a wedding and a corporate convention don’t need the same ones.
Does someone need to explain how it works?
No. The guest steps in, the booth records, the video goes. We stay there all evening, but not because anyone is needed to make it work.
How much space do you need?
A few square metres and a nearby power socket, as for the photobooth. If the room is tight, tell us beforehand and we’ll work out together where to put it.
