What happens at the party
At a private party the booth quickly becomes the spot in the room where everyone ends up. It takes up little space — a few square metres and a socket — but it gathers the groups that would otherwise stay at their own tables: friends on one side, relatives on the other, the kids out in the courtyard.
Guests do it all themselves. There’s nobody to call, no pose to hold and no photographer in front of them: that’s why people behave in a way they never would in front of a camera. The print comes out while they are still laughing, and they take it home.
At an 18th the print ends up in the stories before the queue has cleared. At an anniversary it ends up in an album. The rhythm of the evening changes, not what remains.

The questions about parties
Will it fit in a house or a small room?
The photobooth takes up a few square metres and needs a nearby power socket: it fits in a basement bar, a club, a garden. The 360 needs more clear space around the platform. Send us a photo of the room and we’ll tell you if it fits.
Does it work for an 18th birthday?
It’s where it works best: the kids use it without anyone explaining anything, and the print goes straight into their stories. It’s also the only part of the evening the parents get to see something of the next day.
What if the guests are mostly adults?
The rhythm changes, not the result. At an anniversary or a family birthday the queue forms later and lasts less, but everyone takes the prints home — and people who would never take a photo on their own will do it in a group.
How long does the service last?
It’s agreed beforehand, based on how the evening is organised. We arrive early to set up and test everything while the room is still empty, so when the guests walk in it’s already on.
Can the prints be customised?
Yes: name, date, artwork and backdrop. For a birthday the name and age are usually enough; for an anniversary an old photo on the frame works better.
