What’s different here
The first thing to say is that Friuli isn’t an exception: it’s within the areas we normally cover. We have already been to Duino Castle, Fossa Mala and Villa Luppis, and around Pordenone — the part closest to us — the set-up is no different from a Venetian villa.
What changes are the distances and the historic venues. Trieste and the Karst we reach with a wider time margin, and we factor it in when we agree the arrival time: we would rather arrive an hour too early than set up while the guests are walking in.
In historic residences there are two constraints, and they are always the same: where the equipment can get in, and what anything can be placed on. Both can be solved — at Duino they were — as long as they are discussed with the venue weeks before. That goes double for the light fountains, which indoors always need permission.

Is Friuli a special trip? Does it cost more?
It’s within the areas we normally cover, not an exceptional trip: we have already been to Duino Castle, Fossa Mala and Villa Luppis. We answer on pricing together with availability, based on date and distance.
Which provinces do you cover?
Pordenone, Udine, Trieste and Gorizia. The Pordenone area is the closest to us and the one we visit most; Trieste and the Karst we reach with a wider time margin.
Can you set up in a castle?
We did it at Duino Castle. In historic venues there are two constraints: where the equipment can get in and where anything can be placed. Both are solved by talking to the venue beforehand, not on the day.
Can the light fountains be used in these venues?
They are cold-spark, with no open flame and no smoke, but indoors you always need the venue’s permission — and in a historic residence that conversation has to happen well in advance.
