What happens in the room
The booth is switched on in a corner we chose together, and for the first half hour nobody uses it. Then someone walks past, tries it, and sees the photo come out ten seconds later: from that moment the queue doesn’t stop until the end of the evening.
There’s no pose to hold and no photographer to please. Guests step in on their own, squeeze in four where two would fit, and what comes out is the face they make when they aren’t posing for anyone. That’s why these prints get looked at more than any others.
What remains is an object, not a file. The print ends up in a pocket, on the fridge, inside a wallet; and if you choose the guestbook, a second copy stays pasted in an album with a handwritten message beside it. We set up before the guests walk in, stay all evening and take it down at the end: across Venice, the Veneto and Friuli we don’t ship a kiosk with a manual.

The questions about the photobooth
How many prints come out?
Unlimited for the whole service: whoever comes back a second and a third time leaves with a print the second and the third time too. There’s no counter to keep an eye on during the party.
What’s printed on the photo?
The frame and artwork we decide together beforehand: your names, the date, the company logo, the design you have in mind. It isn’t a catalogue border, the same for every event that weekend.
Does someone need to explain how to use it?
No. The guest stands in front of it, the booth counts down, the print comes out. We stay there all evening, but to keep the paper topped up and handle the unexpected — not because it takes an attendant to make it work.
How does the guestbook work?
An extra print comes out: the guest takes one home and pastes the other into the album, with a handwritten message beside it. It’s the object you open the next day, and usually the part people keep.
How much space do you need?
A few square metres and a nearby power socket. Position matters more than size: in a blind corner the booth stays empty, on the path between the tables and the dance floor nobody leaves it alone. If you send us the floor plan we’ll tell you where to put it.
Do the photos also stay in digital form?
Yes, as well as the print. But the print is the reason the photobooth works: it’s the only part of the evening the guest puts in a pocket before going home.
